I am looking for an intership for the summer of 2027. I am a graduate student working towards a PhD in Statistics at the University of Connecticut. My graduate course work includes both theory based foundations such as mathematical statistics and linear models as well as application courses such as applied statistics, design of experiments, epidemiology, applied spatio-temporal statistics, and statistical computing. My research experience includes graph‑theoretic visualization, centrality‑based modeling of ion conduction, using finite difference and transfer matrix methods to model electric fields and thermal response in multilayer materials to mitigate thermal runaway, generalizing a 3-state cost-efficiency model to an n-state system, deriving convexified maximin/minimax structures for discrete incomplete markets and optimization using simulated annealing.
